A challenge to all members
This month I’m making a challenge for everyone who is part of PAQA. And no . . . it has nothing to do with quilting. I’m not asking you to clean up your sewing room, sort out those messy closets and drawers, or even finish that eter nal project that’s looming over you. This challenge is of a different kind. But first, let me lay the groundwork. At the February meeting, we were excited to welcome four new members and eight visitors. It’s always something to celebrate as we watch our numbers grow. And that’s where the challenge comes in. Those people need to know we’re a friendly group and that they are indeed welcome. So the challenge is simple. Each time you come to a PAQA event, reach out and talk to someone you don’t know. If you see someone without a name tag, that could be a clue that they’re visiting for the first time, so extend a welcoming smile and start a conversation.
